According to the website Love Exploring, New Jersey is home to eleven ghost towns, and we wanted to highlight a few of the best.
So, gather the family, and check out some of these great New Jersey ghost towns. Enjoy.
Batsto Village. If you want to visit a very cool ghost town, Jersey Digs says you have to visit Batsto Village in Hammonton in Burlington County. There were actually residents there until 1989. And don't miss Batsto Mansion.
Feltville. Feltville is a really awesome spot in Berkeley Heights in Union County. You'll want to check out the Feltville Historic District, but remember, this particular ghost town has actual reports of ghosts.
Waterloo Village. Only in Your State says you should head off to Byram Township if you want to see all the Waterloo Village has to offer. It is an amazing open-air museum that got restored back in the 1960s.
And really this is just the tip of the iceberg for ghost towns here in New Jersey, so maybe you can weave a trip to a few of these really cool places this summer. The family will love it.
