
5 Free Things to Do Before Summer Ends in New Jersey
There's still plenty of summer left. Don't let the summer season pass you by because Labor Day weekend will be here before you know it.
Here's a list of 5 free things to do, according to VisitNJ.org. This money-free list will come in handy on these slow, lazy and rainy days of summer, especially if you have kids in the house!

Discover over 85 acres of country gardens and over 550 animals at this gem! Kids will have an opportunity to be part of the 30th annual Zoo Camp this summer at the Cape May Zoo! .
This fascinating establishment was actually an annual destination for my family. My boys could stay at the zoo all day long!

Photodisc 2Heritage Glass Museum - Glassboro
Location: 25 E. High St., Glassboro, NJ
Summer Hours: Wednesday 12-3 -Saturday 11-2 PM.
Discover over 200 years of South Jersey glass, including antique glass worker tools and hand-blown glass. Check out the new Blenko Glass display. The museum is located in a mansion originally built in 1847.

Located: Princeton University, Princeton, NJ
Summer Hours: Sat 10-5 PM Sunday 12-5 PM Tuesday Wednesday- Friday 10-to 5 PM
This one is definitely for art lovers! Located on the campus of Princeton University. Check out over 92,000 works of art, showcased in many styles including American, Asian, African and European. You can also discover one of the country's most intriguing collections of 20th and 21st century art. Check out the summer film series or do a picnic on the lawn!

Howell Living History Farm
Located: 70 Wooden's Lane, Lambertville, NJ
Summer Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM to 4PM
Sunday: Noon to 4 PM
You can turn the clock back to the early 1900s with this horse-powered farm in Lambertville.
Super activities for the kids including summer camp, corn maze trips and hayrides require an additional cost.
Kids can also sign up to become a farmhand and see what's it's like to feed and water the animals!
