Are we alone? If we were alone in the universe that why on Earth would there be an alien landing site right here in New Jersey?

Scientists say that the numbers suggest we are most likely not alone in the vast universe. and if you think that is hard to wrap your head around, then you should probably never visit West Windsor, New Jersey.

The reason for that is simple. If you haven't come to terms with the existence of aliens, then you're definitely not ready to visit the spot where they landed almost 85 years ago.

And just like every other tourist on the planet, the aliens, Martians to be more specific, chose the Garden State as their destination. But at least they waited until summer season was over.

We are not making this up. There is an actual Martian landing sight you can visit in West Windsor. Did it really happen? only in the mind of Orson Welles and his October 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast.

At the time the fictitious breaking news report the the Earth was being invaded by Martians with ill intent was believed by way too many Americans and caused panic. The report claimed the Grovers Mill section of West Windsor as the heart of the attack.

Back in 1988 (the 50th Anniversary of the broadcast), a monument was erected at the "landing site". You can read all about it at Roadside America.

So, if you pack the family in the car and take the 40 minute ride to the Mercer County town, you can, in fact visit a Martian landing sight right here in the Garden State.

You're welcome.
