Another ShopRite Winner: $270,000 Lottery Ticket Sold in Rio Grande

South Jersey's ShopRite lottery luck continues -- a winning $272,000 lottery ticket was recently sold in Cape May County.

Officials with the New Jersey Lottery say one ticket matched all five numbers drawn for Jersey Cash 5 on Wednesday, December 30th. With that winning ticket, one lucky person is walking away with $272,623.

The lottery says the winning ticket was sold at ShopRite on Route 47 in Rio Grande.

This is now the third winning lottery ticket that was sold at a South Jersey ShopRite in roughly the past week. Just before Christmas, a winning Powerball ticket worth over $529,000 was sold at ShopRite in Hammonton. On December 26th, a $50,000 Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at ShopRite in West Berlin.

The winning Jersey Cash 5 numbers from Wednesday's drawing were 05, 07, 13, 21, and 31 and the XTRA number was 02.
