Beer to Blame? Man’s Body Pulled from Creek in Camden County, NJ
Authorities in Camden County say a dead man's body was pulled from a creek Monday afternoon.
Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer says officers responded to the 600 block of Broadway in Gloucester City around 2:15 PM Monday after train operators spotted a body in Little Timber Creek.
The man, only identified as being 66-years-old, was floating face-down, according to police.
Mayer's office says an autopsy determined the man's death was accidental and toxicology results are pending. A case of beer along with some empty cans was reportedly found at the scene.
The investigation is being handled by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Gloucester City Police.
