The Brigantine Beach Office of Emergency Management wants to tell you not to believe everything you read online, especially these days.

Despite posts to the contrary on Facebook, the bridge in and out of Brigantine is not closed and is not expected to close.

Sunday, the Brigantine Office for Emergency Management made their own Facebook post about the incorrect information concerning the bridge's closing and encouraged anyone with questions about city operations to check with Brigantine's official pages such as "The Island of Brigantine" page of their own "Brigantine Beach Office of Emergency Management" page.

Otherwise, don't believe everything you read on Facebook.
