The county is experiencing fewer cases of coronavirus, according to Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr.

The drive-through testing site, formed on the parking lot of Camden County College since April 15, will stop operating at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26, according to Courier Post.

In a statement, Cappelli says, "At this time, we feel confident that the site … has served its purpose".

This is a positive sign that the virus has slowed down in Camden County. Reportedly, the average number of new COVID-19 cases per day has dropped about 60 percent in the last few weeks.

Capelli reassures county residents, "It is safe to go to their primary care provider if they are not feeling well".
