NJ Travelers Urged To Use Extreme Caution While Visiting This Popular European Country
The summer travel season is among us, and pretty soon people will be descending upon the roads and the airways to do some much-needed summer exploring.
But as we start to kick off the summer travel season, New Jersey travelers are being warned to use a little more caution when traveling to a very popular European Country.

Why Are US Travel Advisories Increasing This Summer?
More and more countries are being added to advisory lists for Americans getting ready to travel, and there are four different warning levels that Americans need to keep an eye on before setting out to travel, according to NJ.com
What Do The US Travel Advisory Levels Mean?
- Level 1: Exercise normal precautions - this is the lowest risk level, advising that travelers should just take normal precautions when traveling to another country
- Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution - there is a heightened risk of security and safety issues, and travelers should use more caution than normal when traveling
- Level 3: Reconsider Traveling - There are serious risks to traveling, and travelers are advised to reconsider travel plans
- Level 4: Do not travel - this is the highest warning level from the US Government, urging people not to travel to this country/ One of the biggest concerns is that if something were to go wrong, the US may not be able to assist in getting trapped travelers back to America

Any time the United States increases its travel advisory on a country, it's cause for alarm, especially when it's a country that's a pretty popular tourist destination for Americans.
France Now Has A Level 2 Travel Advisory Against It For US Travelers
NJ.com reports that France has just seen an updated travel advisory moving from a level 1 advisory to a level 2 advisory.
This is mainly due to increased civil unrest, and attacks on large crowds could happen without warning.
This all sounds very scary, but there's always a risk when you travel. For example, my wife and I spent two weeks in Italy in 2023, and at that time there was a level 2 travel advisory at that point in time.
We understood that we were going to a foreign country, and that brings risks in and of itself, but we made sure to prep, keep our heads on swivels, and still ended up having an amazing vacation.
