A Beloved New Jersey Breakfast Food Is Being Recalled
Recalls seem to be rampant in the Garden State right now.
Over the past month, we've seen a milk recall affecting certain types of Lactaid milk, a recall for Harley-Davidson, and a recall for chicken and beef.
Now, in each of these recalls above the companies have been pretty transparent when it comes to explaining the problem, making sure people are aware of the issue, and what consumers can do if their products are affected by the recall.
Now, it looks like one of Jersey's most popular breakfast items is facing a recall of its own, and it's pretty massive.

Frozen waffles sold at Walmart, Aldi, Dollar General, Target, and Walmart are all being recalled according to CBS.
The manufacturer of the waffles is a company called Treehouse Foods, and nearly 600 brands of waffles are affected by the recall.
Brands like Kodiak Waffles, Foodhold, and Simple Truth frozen waffles are a part of the recall.
Why Are Waffles Being Recalled Around New Jersey?
It's a precautionary measure as of now since Treehouse Foods says there have been no reported illnesses, which is good.
However, it was revealed that some of the waffles may have been contaminated by Listeria, a disease that causes fever, confusion, muscle aches, and fatigue and could take as long as 10 weeks for symptoms to present themselves.
