Food is always a popular topic, and here in New Jersey, we enjoy good food, at least most of us do lol. I came across a recent Buzzfeed.com article by Ryan Schocket, and I agree with a good portion of it. There are some "foods" that I don't think are real New Jersey foods, but I could be wrong lol

Here is a list of foods that are true "Jersey" favorites, and let's run down the Buzzfeed list, and after I'll show you the particular foods that I don't agree are a Garden State favorite.

- Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese
- Kohr's Ice Cream
- Salt Water Taffy
- Boardwalk Fries
- Zeppoles
- Sloppy Joe
- Disco Fries
- Wawa Hoagie
- Anything From a Diner After Midnight
- Italian Hot Dog
- Fat Sandwich
- Fried Oreos
- Campbell's Soup
- Waffles and Ice Cream
- Texas Weiner (I'd Call "Chili Dog")
- Anything Tastykake
- Panzerotti
- NJ Tomatoes "Jersey Tomatoes"

As for the list, I do agree with a lot of it however there is some of the list I would question as "Jersey Food".
- Waffles and Ice Cream: Isn't that a Belgian thing?
- Tastycake?
- Fat Sandwich .... what?
- Fried Oreos
