Do You Love Mac & Cheese?

When you think of various "comfort foods," you probably will see mac and cheese on the list. It is one of the most popular comfort foods in America. According to e-conolight.com, some of the most popular comfort foods include chili, pot roast, chicken and waffles, grilled cheese, mashed potatoes, soup, stuffing, etc.

I would definitely include mac and cheese on the list of best comfort foods, and when I saw that there is actually an entire festival coming to the Garden State featuring the best mac and cheese, I wanted to know more.

In a recent article from thedigestonline.com, "Have you ever dreamed of a day filled with a dozen different styles of gooey, cheesy mac and cheese? We have the event for you. The inaugural Jersey City Mac & Cheese Festival, hosted by Jersey City Happy Hours, is set for Saturday, November 2, 2024. Hosted by the Lokel Group, the event will feature a food crawl around Jersey City, where participants can sample mac and cheese dishes from a variety of local eateries."

Sounds like a delicious event so mark your calendar for November 2nd (1-5 pm) it is fast approaching. "Participants will need to purchase a ticket, which includes a punch card for mac and cheese samples at all participating locations. Check-in starts at designated locations and will close at 3:00 p.m. Only guests with punch cards will be eligible to sample dishes. Volunteers will be present at each restaurant to manage punch cards and answer questions."
