32-Year-Old Lindenwold, NJ Mom of 2 Found Dead in North Jersey
The body of a 32-year-old woman from Lindenwold, New Jersey has been found in North Jersey.
The victim, Norelis Mendoza, was reportedly last seen in Jersey City on Saturday, May 13th. She was reported missing the very next day, Mother's Day.
Jersey City Police Department, Bayonne Police Department, and New Jersey State Police had all been searching for her.
The young mom of two's dead body was discovered on Wednesday off Route 440 in Bayonne near the border of Jersey City, according to Patch.com.
While police wait for official results from an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Mendoza's death, they say it looks 'suspicious', and Hudson County homicide detectives are on the case, according to Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Family had reportedly been frantic since learning of her disappearance over the weekend, according to Patch.com, and expressed concerns Norelis may have been the victim of a domestic violence prior to going missing.
