Report: Sixers ‘Quietly a Suitor’ for Jimmy Butler
The Philadelphia 76ers season hasn't gone exactly to plan and with the NBA trade deadline looming, could the Sixers be looking to shake things up in a major way?
According to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports, the team could 'quietly' be a suitor for Jimmy Butler. "In a Paul George for Jimmy, sort of straight up swap."

Goodwill mention that George and Butler don't make the same money, but the framework of a deal would include those big names.
"Joel Embiid, who still loves Jimmy Butler, is pushing for them to re-acquire Jimmy Butler, knowing that he's out there."
Goodwill explains one potential snafu in a George for Butler deal.
"Paul George was told by management/ownership, we wouldn't trade you year one of this deal."
George is currently dealing with a pinky injury, and has been in and out of the Sixers lineup this season.
In 30 games, George is averaging 17.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 36.5% shooting from 3-point range.
As for Butler, 35, has been suspended indefinitely by the Miami Heat. He is scoring 17 points per game for Miami this season.
Butler, of course played for the Sixers for half a season in 2018-19 before being traded to Miami, but the team was eliminated by eventual NBA Champion, Toronto in the second-round of the playoffs.
The NBA trade deadline is Friday, Feb 7 at 3 p.m.
