63 arrested, 2679 calls — busy 15 days for Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Police Department

Those in blue in Egg Harbor Township had a very busy start to March answering nearly 2,700 calls and arresting over five dozen people.

According to numbers posted to Facebook, from March 1st through 15th, the department officially had 2,679 calls for service, they responded to nearly 200 EMS calls, made 724 traffic stops and wrote 247 tickets, and conducted nearly 800 property checks.

The following arrests were reported:

• March 1st — Lisa Montell of Egg Harbor Township — cited for defiant trespassing

• March 1st — Jamaal Cyrus of Jersey City — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• March 1st — Justin Specht of Egg Harbor Township — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• March 1st — Michael Hare of Egg Harbor Township — arrested for an outstanding warrant

• March 1st — Michael Knips of Atlantic City — arrested for outstanding warrants

• March 2nd — Vincent Currie of Pleasantville — charged with driving under the influence

• March 2nd — Christopher Giordano of Mays Landing — arrested for outstanding warrants

• March 2nd — Christian Rodriguez of Egg Harbor Township — charged with simple assault
