
Expect Delays on Major Roads in Atlantic City, New Jersey
This is an important public service announcement that can save you both time and unnecessary aggravation … today and into next week.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation has proactively confirmed that the NJDOT will be performing road work on both Route 30 and Route 40 in Atlantic City, New Jersey as follows:
Route 30 Drawbridge
- Thursday, March 20, 2025
- Friday, March 21, 2025
- Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Route 40 Drawbridge
- Tuesday, March 25, 2025
The NJDOT has shared the following important information:
The road work will take place, with 15-20 minute intervals in between openings to allow for traffic to clear. Work on each of these dates will require several periodic openings of 5-10 minutes between 9 am and 2 pm, Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise caution and anticipate potential delays in the work area.
The road construction schedule may be adjusted, depending weather conditions or other conditions.
All motorists should:
