Motorcyclist Dies After Crash in North Wildwood
A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in North Wildwood and police say speed may have been a factor.
The accident happened just before 10:00 Friday night, August 15th, in the 600 block of West Spruce Ave (Route 147).
Police Report
The North Wildwood Police Department said one of its officers saw a black sport motorcycle traveling westbound on Spruce Avenue at a high rate of speed.
The driver lost control of the bike, it went off of the roadway, and crashed.
Emergency Response
The North Wildwood Fire Department and medics from AtlantiCare provided medical assistance and the driver was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he died from his injuries.
Police did not identify the driver in a press release.
