The two people who were found dead in Wildwood Crest earlier this week appears to be a case of murder-suicide.

The Cape May County Prosecutor's Office says on Wednesday, officers from the Wildwood Crest Police Department were called to a home on the 300 block of East Atlanta Avenue, where an adult man and an adult woman were found dead.

Victims Identified as Wildwood Crest Residents

The two have been identified as Donald Miller and Marion Miller, both 79 years old and both from Wildwood Crest.

Investigation Points to Murder-suicide

A comprehensive investigation, which included witness interviews, forensic analysis, and post-mortem examinations conducted by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office, indicates that Marion Miller's death was the result of a single fatal gunshot wound and Donald Miller's death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
