Just hours after the Atlantic City Airshow ended, cops in the World's Play Ground say two women were injured in a shooting.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, just before 11 PM Wednesday, officers responded to the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. Officers at the scene located evidence of gunfire but they could not find a victim.

Cops say a short time later, two women, ages 16 and 52 and both from Atlantic City, arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division suffering from gunshot wounds. The injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
