3 New Jersey Cities Rank Among The Best In The Country To Call Home
There are a lot of great places to live in New Jersey, but as we enter a new year, aren't you curious to see if you live in one of the top 50 places to live in the country?
Despite the fact that it seems like there's somewhat of a mass exodus from the Garden State in recent years, I'm a fairly new resident, and love it!
Why do I like living in Jersey so much?
A few reasons; first and foremost living this close to the Jersey Shore is fantastic. In addition, the food is second to none, and I love all the fun and entertainment we have access to.
Whether that's a day trip to Atlantic City for dinner, a show, and trying my luck at the slots to taking the bus from the Toms River bus hub to NYC for the day, or just catching a Blue Claws game at First Energy Park.
There's just so much to do!
That all being said, have you ever wondered where New Jersey ranks when compared to the rest of the country in terms of being a good place to live?
Me too, and fortunately the experts out there have compiled the Top 50 Best Places to live in the United States for 2022 to 2023, and 3 New Jersey Cities made the list!
What New Jersey Cities Ranked Among The Best To Live In For 2022-2023?
When compiling the Top 50 Best Places to live, Money.com looked at several different factors.
They looked at economic opportunities, quality of life, diversity, and what the future of the town or city looks like.
Coming in at number 30 is Morristown New Jersey, ranked for its quaint downtown, proximity to New York City, and ample family entertainment.
Jumping to number 14 on the list is Fort Lee New Jersey, which made the list due to the historic area, the culture, and the amenities the town has for residents.
And the third city to make Money.com's list of 50 Best Places To Live is Jersey City pulling in the number 10 spot for the city's diversity, proximity to New York, and access to tons of professional sporting events.
I will say, the list seems very skewed to North Jersey when there are a ton of great places across the state I'd throw on the list such as Bayville, Forked River, Toms River, Little Egg Harbor, or Manahawkin just to name a few!
