Phillies Outfielder Bryce Harper Returns After Welcoming Son

Congratulations are in order for Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper and his wife Kayla.  The couple welcomed a son, Krew Aron Harper, born August 22, 2019.  Krew is the Harper's first-born child.

That move means that Maikel Franco will return to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.  The Phillies summoned Franco upon Harper being placed on the paternity list.  Franco was 2 for 6 with a double in his three games with the big club.  Franco also made a costly defensive miscue at third base that helped exacerbate the poor play by the Phillies.
