Since the stay-at-home order and the closing of non-essential businesses, the adoption facility at the Humane Society of Ocean City has been closed, although the veterinary services remain open.

The dogs and cats are still there, though, waiting for life to get back to normal so they once again have a chance to be adopted and find their forever home.

We thought it would be fun to feature a gallery of photos of some the animals who will soon be available for adoption from the Humane Society of Ocean City.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters. This week, we are featuring dogs!

By the way the dog in the cover photo is Harvey. Here's what the Humane Society had to say about him:

"Harvey was found as a stray and was being fed by a few people until he was brought to us. He is a small lab mix, about a year old. He is good with dogs and cats, older children would be fine due to his energy level."

Please a take a good look at some of the wonderful dogs hoping you will consider them for adoption.
