The Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure will open May 30th and be open to visitors daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., (weather permitting). It will be a contact-free experience. Therefore, advance tickets and reservations are required. Tickets WILL NOT be available at the gate. Reservations can be made starting Monday, May 27th at 10 a.m.

FYI, Active Members, Season Pass holders and employees can attend special preview day on Friday, May 29th.

The Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure will incorporate new safety procedures for both guests and team members, according to a press release sent to SoJO 104.9.

Here's what you can look forward to:

Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure will take you on a self-guided journey through 1,200 exotic animals from six continents, including giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, tigers, bears and baboons. From the safety and privacy of your vehicle, you and your family can slowly cruise through 350 acres and 11 simulated natural habitats. Six Flags reminds guests that while most of the animals roam freely in the safari, predators (i.e. lions, tigers) are kept safely behind fences, but all animals are clearly visible from car windows.

Pricing applies per person:

  • General Admission (over age 10) weekends -- $20
  • General Admission (over age 10) weekdays -- $15
  • Kids (10 and under) weekends -- $18
  • Kids (10 and under) weekdays -- $13

This is the first time in 8 years that Six Flags Great Adventure is offering a Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure. In 2013, Great Adventure converted the experience to guided truck tours of the safari.

In case you were wondering about the main theme park and Hurricane Harbor water park, per state, local, and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, both will remain closed until further notice.
