Several huge parties that broke NJ's social distancing guidelines are responsible for the rental freeze of various South Jersey properties listed on Airbnb.

The news broke this morning that Airbnb is not allowing homes from Atlantic City, Brigantine, Ventnor, and Stafford Township to be rented out for the foreseeable future out of fear of a possible coronavirus spike if those renting throw a big house party. NJ.com reports that a house party in Ocean County last weekend had hundreds of people in attendance. It's parties like this that have lead to this decision.

Airbnb released a statement that, in summary, said that they believe in the values Governor Murphy is pushing in light of the coronavirus pandemic and will not stand for renters violating the mandates.
