After 13 seasons and a franchise record 156 consecutive stars, Kelce announced that he would be retiring from the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles as the best center in franchise history.
The 45-year old was a third-round pick by the Eagles, and has coached with three different head coaches in Philadelphia, Andy Reid, Chip Kelly and Doug Pederson.
Pederson went from Super Bowl winning coach, along with three straight playoff appearances, to out of a job three seasons later, making this decision even more surprising.
