Students at a New Jersey middle school were subject to an unexpected and scary lesson after witnessing a teacher who had overdosed, requiring life-saving efforts.

The owners of a turn-of-the 19th century home in Westfield, New Jersey did not feel welcome in their new neighborhood, and from the looks of it, neither do the characters in an upcoming Netflix series inspired by the home.

The governor said the return in some districts to classroom learning has "worked quite well" even as more districts go all- remote through at least Thanksgiving.

The studio's president is an alum of the high school.
