Two people are recovering after being injured in a crash in Galloway Township Wednesday evening.

Galloway Township Police say the accident happened just before 6:30 PM at the White Horse Pike and South Genoa Avenue.

According to police, a car being driven by 19-year-old Sierra Brown of Vineland was traveling northbound on Genoa Ave. Brown’s vehicle entered the White Horse Pike and was struck by another car being driven by 50-year-old Joseph Barnett of Mays Landing.

Brown was ejected from her vehicle during the collision. Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

Traffic was detoured around the accident scene for over three hours.

An investigation into the crash continues.
