Cops in Egg Harbor Township say two people from Pennsylvania were killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Delilah Road Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, at about 1:30 Thursday, cops were called to Delilah Road near the Garden State Parkway overpass for the report of a crash. There, police say,

A 2015 Volkswagen, that was being operated by Timothy Millett, 51 years of age from Clarks Summit Pennsylvania, was travelling west on Delilah Road when it crossed the center line and collided head on with a 2013 Mazda CX9, operated by John Ward, 52 years of age from Lansdale Pennsylvania, that was travelling east on Delilah Road. A third vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Journey, operated by Anthony Dorto, 50 years of age from West Berlin, New Jersey, was also travelling east on Delilah Road and collided with the rear of the Mazda after the initial collision.

Millett and his passenger, 35-year-old Sara Hutchison, also of Clarks Summit, PA, were taken to AtlantiCare Trauma Center in Atlantic City where they were both pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Ward was also taken to the same hospital with serious injuries. Dorto, who sustained moderate injuries in the accident, was taken to AtlantiCare in Pomona for treatment.

EHT Police say Delilah Road was closed for over three hours as they investigated the accident and cleared the scene.

This accident occurred less than two hours after another fatal accident in the township. In that crash, police say a pick-up truck on Zion Road made a turn in front of a motorcycle being driven by 54-year-old Joseph Falcone of Egg Harbor Township, a retired Atlantic City police officer, who was killed.
