Two men, one from Atlantic City and another from Pennsylvania, were arrested last weekend after they allegedly attempted to lure young boys.

The Atlantic City Police Department says the two were arrested thanks to "assistance from concerned citizens" who were posing as underage children on-line.

Cops say last Saturday, they responded to the 2400 block of Formicas Way for a report that 58-year-old Robert Catalano of Atlantic City had attempted to lure a child to engage in sexual contact. The concerned citizens provided officers with screen shots and detailed communications between Catalano and an individual posing as a 14-year-old boy.

Then on Sunday, "concerned citizens notified officers that Mark Bloodgood had engaged in messages with an individual purporting to be a 15-year-old boy to participate in sexual activity. Screenshots and detailed information were provided to detectives."

Catalano, and 58-year-old Mark Bloodgood of Chester Springs, PA, have both been charged with luring/enticing a child by various means and were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Atlantic City Police did not say that the "concerned citizens" were the same group of people that were behind a recent child luring arrest in neighboring Brigantine.

Charges are mere accusations, and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
