Two Shot in Brigantine Early Monday Morning
Cops in Brigantine are asking for your help as they investigate why two people were shot early Monday morning on the island.
The Brigantine Police Department says the shooting took place at around 1:30 early Monday morning in the 200 block of 13th Street North.
According to police, a 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were struck by the gunfire and were transported to the hospital where they are now in stable condition.
No further information is being released as this is still an active investigation.
Officers are asking for homeowners and business owners in the area to contact them with any surveillance video that they may have. This includes residences along East Brigantine Avenue in the immediate area (near The Pirate’s Den). Detectives are also asking that anyone with information about the shooting please contact them as well.
