The movie is directed by Zack Snyder, who, according to The Verge, "directed the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead (as well as his long list of superhero blockbusters like Man of Steel, Watchmen, and Justice League)."

IMDb.com says describes the plot of the movie like this: "Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted."

The film stars David Bautista, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Ella Purnell.

The movie will be rated R for "strong bloody violence, gore and language throughout, some sexual content and brief nudity/graphic nudity."

Here's a look at the just-released trailer:

You can certainly recognize the old casino floor as being from the Showboat. (Maybe that found some old Showboat Showgirl costumes in a back room somewhere, too....)

If you happened to work on the movie as an extra, please mention that in the comments section and let us know what the experience was like.

It was nice to see some movie action filming in Atlantic City. Hopefully there will be more in the future.
