The potential final piece to Dave Dombrowski's offseason puzzle was announced on Wednesday, adding veteran free agent slugger Kyle Schwarber to the line-up.

The biggest question is, where will he hit in the Phillies lineup?

Dave Dombrowski said he was looking for a middle of the order bet, so does Schwarber hit in the middle of the order, or does Joe Girardi use him as his lead-off man, where Schwarber has spent plenty of his time during his career.

So does this mean another move is coming to add a middle of the order bat?

While it may not have been the signing that all Phillies fans had hoped to see – I guess its still a possibility that the team could target a player like Kris Bryant or Nick Castellanos.  Adding those player should give the lineup a huge offensive boost.

So how does the Phillies line-up stack up with the addition of Schwarber, who has hit out of the lead-off spot more times than any other spot in the order?

The Phillies have limIted options when it comes to hitting leadoff on the current roster.  Jean Segura, Bryce Harper, Odubel Herrera and Matt Vierling have all hit in that spot in the order, but are not ideal options.

The guy on the current roster that makes the most sense right now is Schwarber, and with the Phillies roughly $10 million shy of $230 mm luxury tax limit, per Matt Gelb of The Athletic, finding a middle of the order bat could be a challenge.

Some of the options still out there other outfield options than Bryant and Castellanos include Corey Dickerson, Jorge Solar, Joc Pederson Jonathan Villar and Brett Gardner to name a few options.

My guess, Schwarber hits leadoff and the team signs another name to bat in the middle of the order.
