Winner, Winner: NJ Lottery Says $50K and $1.1M Winning Tickets Sold
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery say two people in the Garden State are having the best Monday ever.
That's because someone just won $50,000 while another person scored over $1.1 million.
One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn for Jersey Cash 5 this past Thursday, April 21st, making someone $1,189,761 richer.
Those winning numbers were 26, 28, 34, 37, and 41; the XTRA number was 02.
According to lottery officials, that winning ticket was sold at Columbus General Store and Grille on Atlantic Avenue in Columbus, Burlington County.
Meanwhile, one Powerball ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball for Saturday's drawing, making that little piece of paper worth $50,000.
Those winning numbers were 10, 39, 47, 49, and 56. The Red Power Ball number was 08 and the Power Play was 3X.
That winning ticket was sold at Stop N Go on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant, Ocean County.
