From Walter White to Arya Stark, TV viewers got to know characters between 2009 and 2019 we'll never forget. Here's a look back.

Evil or virtuous, funny or profound, they were quotable, eye-opening, and legendary.

BTW, these are my personal picks based on shows I've watched. I know some of you will drag me for leaving off Don Draper or Elliot Anderson, but I've never watched Mad Men or Mr. Robot...not yet, at least, lol.

Who's been your favorite TV character of the last decade? Let us know in the comment box below!

    Raymond Reddington

NBC's The Blacklist has survived for 7 seasons because of James Spader's believability as Reddington. He's connected, debonair, has great taste in wine, and knows where all of the FBI's Most Wanted are hiding out. You don't know whether to throw him in jail or have dinner with him.

    Negan (honorable mention, Lucille)

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan is maniacal, takes no prisoners, and is still crackin' human and zombie skulls on The Walking Dead. And it has nothing to do with his pet bat. If I ever met him in a dark alley, I wouldn't even have the courage to run. I'd probably just curl up in the fetal position and wait for death, lol. Negan made us all forget about JDM's romantic turn as the dying Denny Duquette on Grey's Anatomy.

    Tyrion Lannister

He's probably the Game of Thrones character I rooted for more than any other. Tyrion (played by the incomparable Peter Dinklage) was conceived entirely in wedlock, but was treated like nothing but a bastard and a defect his whole life. Somehow, despite his pension for alcohol and hookers, he remained GoT's moral compass. Sure, he killed his own father, but with a dad like that, who needs one.

    Eleven

'El's supernatural forces are the center of Stranger Things. There may be the Upside Down world, but the show begins and ends with her abilities. The girl's got skills, lol. I love the Season 1 scenes between her and Mike Wheeler where she's like a scared animal afriad of human contact, and Millie Bobby Brown's growth playing Eleven has been fascinating to watch.

    Phil Dunphy

He's a boob. He's just a boob. I love physical comedians, and Ty Burrell's blunder's on Modern Family are some of my faves.

    Frank Underwood

Yes, House of Cards' Claire Underwood was JUST as bad as her husband. But she doesn't get that way without Frank's spiderweb of lies. Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood may have had a crappy southern accent, but boy did he give me chills about what could really be going on behind the scenes of our political system. Frank Underwood was like a car crash, you didn't want to look, but you couldn't look AWAY either.

    Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill

On Better Call Saul, we learn that the life Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk, led on Breaking Bad was just as head-scratching as the one he led as Jimmy McGill LONG before he ever crossed paths with Walter White. His trials and tribulations of criminal attorney in Albuquerque just leave you feeling sorry for him, but amazed and amused at the same time. His early days of pulling of schemes pave the way for why he was exactly the right person to cover up for Heisenberg.

    Arya Stark

The youngest of Ned Stark's daughter's, Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, mission in life was absolute and totally controlled by her. Even in the darkest of Game of Thrones moments, she always had a plan. Her journey took her all around Westeros, and ultimately led her to the role of not only heroine, but savior. She is by far one of my all-time favorite female characters.

    Baby Yoda

Yes, he's the new kid on the block. But Baby Yoda's undeniable charm has hooked us all on The Mandalorian. Even if the show sucked, I'd still watch it just to get a glimpse of the puke green baby in his floating bassinet. He just has to wiggle his ears, use all his might to use a 'force' he hasn't yet mastered, or gurgle, and I melt. Not in recent memory has there been a TV character who's managed to steal hearts so quickly.

P.S. This clip is from The Mandalorian, but it's a spoof. Thought it was worth a chuckle.

    Walter White

Bryan Cranston's turn as Walter White, the school teacher-turned cancer patient-turned drug dealer, took us on a 5 season roller coaster ride of emotions. You loved him, you hated him, you pitied him, and back. Breaking Bad's Walter White is one of the most memorable creations ever brought to life on the small screen, or any screen for that matter. Cranston is masterful. And while mostly a monster of his own making, a victim of circumstance just the same.
