If you do not have plans to check out the 17th Atlantic City Airshow on Wednesday, August 21st, it may be time to change your mind.

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has just announced that they plan on giving the air show -- which draws over 400,000 people to Atlantic City each year -- an additional $100,000!

This money will be used to expand the show and add brand new tricks that have not been seen before.

According to PressofAtlanticCity.com, "'There will be an opening ceremony on Monday night, August 19th with the show's first-ever jump by the U.S. Army Golden Knights on the beach between Bellevue and Texas avenues,' said chamber Executve VP Michael Chait."

Those in charge are also making it clear that this additional $100,000 will make it possible to include many other surprises, most of which they are keeping under wraps for now.

Sounds like we are in for quite a treat!
