2 Big Southern NJ Powerball Winners: One $100K, Another $50,000
Unless you just returned from Washington state, no one in New Jersey is celebrating winning a huge Powerball jackpot -- however, two people in South Jersey are having a pretty good day today.
Big Powerball winner
One lottery player in Washington won Monday night's $754.6 million Powerball jackpot (the cash value was just over $407 million).
Closer to home, according to the New Jersey Lottery, two tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. One of those tickets is worth $50,000 while the other was purchased with a 2x multiplier, making it worth $100,000.
The winning $50,000 ticket was sold at Royal Farms on Berkley Road in Clarksboro, Gloucester County.
The Powerball ticket worth six figures was sold at Wawa on Salem Road in Burlington.
The winning numbers for the Monday, February 6th, drawing were 05, 11, 22, 23, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 07. The Power Play was 2X.
Lots of smaller winners
Nearly 97,000 other New Jersey Powerball players took home an estimated $506,517 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing Wednesday night.
