My dad fancied himself an inventor. He moved to the state of Thomas Edison from Pennsylvania in his teens. But Edison he was not. Now, some of his ideas were interesting. In fact, he died a patent holder of two inventions. But a patent doesn't necessarily translate to profitability or usefulness.
He was however among good company. New Jersey has long been a creative and innovative place. Here are 7 things you use all the time that I bet you had no idea were invented right here in New Jersey.
