8 Wild And Remote South Jersey Hiding Places For Those That Don’t Want To Be Found
The tragic story of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie has captivated the entire nation.
Gabby Petito and her then-boyfriend, once fiance, Brian Laundrie, left on a cross-country trip together in Gabby's van with the intention of documenting their trip, influencer-style, in an attempt to start a blog and obtain a decent social media following. Gabby intended on turning that blog into a full-time job.
Brian Laundrie returned from the Grand Tetons without her, returning in her van without her. Speculation immediately ensued. He lawyered up upon returning to his home in Florida before even talking once with police. It would be her parents, not him, who would file a missing person's report.
So many details of this case don't seem to add up, like Laundrie not reporting her missing, returning home in her van, and not having any contact with her parents at all. Not to mention, the guy got a lawyer before even making a public statement.
Gabby's body was eventually found near one of the campsites that she is known to have stayed at.
Brian has been on the run for several weeks, and nobody, not even federal authorities or Dog the Bounty Hunter, can track him down. Yes, Dog has joined the case, too.
If you're anything like me and obsessed with cases like these that pop up, then you already have your own theories. The bodycam footage from when the cops pulled Petito and Laundrie over didn't help matters, either.
Then, I started to wonder what someone would do if, like Laundrie, they tried to run and hide here in South Jersey. Where would the public recommend the authorities to start their search? I came up with some ideas...
