Despite past warnings, Apple is now saying it's ok to now clean your iPhone or iPad with alcohol or Clorox wipes, according to Yahoo news.

For years, Apple warned us to never use alcohol wipes or any kind of disinfecting wipes to clean our Apple products, like iPhones or iPads, because they said they were abrasive and may scratch the protective covering on the screens.

Well, enter Coronavirus, and those warnings have changed. Apple is now saying to go ahead and clean your iPhones and iPads, with whatever alcohol wipes or disinfecting wipes you can find in the stores. They're suggesting Clorox Wipes.

Apple said, "Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces. Don’t submerge your Apple product in any cleaning agents. Don’t use on fabric or leather surfaces."

Did you know a virus can live on your phone for up to 9 days? Gross.
