Atlantic County Prosecutor: Help Us Solve 2017 Double Murder
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is asking for your help in identifying a minivan linked to a 2017 double murder in Buena Borough, Atlantic County.
This week, the Proscecutor's office put out this release giving details about the case and requesting help in solving these murders.
"On September 16, 2017 around 1:19am, Damon Jones, 34, of Bridgeton, NJ and Talisa Colon, 23, of Vineland, NJ, were fatally shot as they sat in a vehicle in the parking lot of the MVP Sports Bar, located at 408 Wheat Road, Buena, NJ. Surveillance video showed a vehicle that is linked to the murders. Detectives believe the vehicle is likely a newer model Chrysler or Dodge minivan, dark in color.
During the 22 months since the murders occurred, detectives from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit have followed up on numerous leads and tips; however, they believe there are members of the public that witnessed the shooting or are familiar with the minivan depicted in the video, who could provide crucial information to solve this heinous act of violence.
