The Eagles have placed tight end Zach Ertz, on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

A corresponding move has yet to be announced by the organization, but this doesn't rule Ertz out for the game this Monday night against the Cowboys. Ertz has either tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close contact with an infected person.

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Ertz is vaccinated, so there is a chance that he could still play Monday night as long as he has no symptoms and two negative tests 24 hours apart.

But, for now, Ertz has been moved off of the roster.

The news comes a week before Philadelphia travels to Dallas to face the Cowboys in an NFC East battle.

The veteran tight end hasn't had much of an impact thus far in the Eagles offense, catching just three passes for 40 yards.
