Halle Berry-Fronted Movie Holding Open Call in Atlantic City for Extras

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is directing her first movie, called Bruised, and it's filming some scenes in Atlantic City. Here are details on this week's Open Call for extras.

Berry stars as Jackie "Justice", a disgraced MMA fighter who has failed at the one thing she's ever been good at fighting. When 6-year-old Manny, the son she walked out on years ago, returns to her doorstep, Jackie has to conquer her own demons, face one of the fiercest rising stars of the MMA world, and ultimately fight to become the mother this kid deserves.

This is SUCH an exciting opportunity for local actors and movie lovers.

Bruised is filming at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City from November 11-14. The film's crew will be casting for extras and large background-scene crowds this Thursday, November 7 from 4-7 p.m. at HQ2 nightclub inside Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.

Extras may be compensated for their time depending on the length of time they're able to participate in shooting, or have a chance to win prizes, such as TV's, gaming systems, and gift cards.

Casting is being conducted by Weist-Barron-Ryan.
