For year-round residents of the Jersey Shore, it is both interesting and exciting when celebrities visit and endorse local businesses. While those of us locals know where the best spots are, when vacationers discover them, it gets the community excited.

Whether it's Eagles Legend Jason Kelce and Dante the Don showing love for Mike's Seafood in Sea Isle City, Phillies Slugger Kyle Schwarber visiting Shorebreak Pizza in Avalon, or Eagles Kicker Jake Elliott posting on social media an endorsement for The Watering Hull in Stone Harbor, both Celebrities and Professional Athletes love South Jersey.

After spending a decade as an NFL Backup Quarterback, Dan Orlovsky has become one of the faces of NFL coverage at ESPN. Since 2018, Orlovsky has been a familiar face on televsion, from NFL Live to First Take, along with Get Up and a frequent guest on The Pat McAfee Show.

Orlovsky and Family Visit the Jersey Shore every Summer

Dan Orlovsky is such a fan of the Jersey Shore, he did a segment on the ESPN Show "Get Up" where he compared the top College Football Quarterbacks to South Jersey Fudge shops. He made the analogies while explaining what makes each player an NFL Draft prospect while highlighting Shriver's in Ocean City, James' Fudge in Sea Isle City, and The Original Fudge Kitchen in Wildwood.

On a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Orlovsky was on screen for 10-plus minutes wearing a Bubba Dogs T-shirt while sitting at her Jersey Shore vacation home.

For over two decades, the Bubba Dog Hot Dogs cart has been located on 59th Street at the beach entrance in Sea Isle City. Earlier this year, Owner Tim McNamara and his wife opened a new storefront on the Promenade Deck in between 42nd and 43rd streets.

The husband and wife team continue to operate both the Bubba Dogs Hot Dogs Cart on 59th street, along with the Bubba Dogs Snack Shack storefront that is nestled between the Boardwalk Casino Arcade and Zio Niccolo Pizza.

Orlovsky didn't just show his support for Bubba Dogs on the Pat McAfee show, he also shared on Instagram this weekend a post with his kids wearing Bubba Dogs shirts in a beach photoshoot:

Between hot dogs and fudges, seems like Dan Orlovsky and his family are living their best life at the South Jersey Shore. As longtime Cape May County resident, I am glad to see people like Orlovsky giving shine to the small businesses in New Jersey's southernmost county.

10 Favorite Things about Cape May County, NJ

The history of Cape May County predates the formation of the United States of America by about 100 years as it was one of the first counties established in what was originally known as the West New Jersey Provence. Cape May County's historical records go back as far as 1685 and the County was originally established in 1692. Cape May County has been a huge part of my life and that of my family's for decades, so I wanted to share with you my favorite aspects of the southern most County in the state of New Jersey.
