
New Jersey Halting All Elective Surgeries Amid Coronavirus Crisis
Starting Friday, March 27th, elective surgeries will stop in the Garden State as coronavirus continues to spread.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive order Monday that suspends surgeries on adults that can be put of to a later date without risking a patient's safety, NJ.com reports. The suspension also extends to invasive dental procedures and elective oral surgery.

As of today, there are 2,844 positive cases of coronavirus in New Jersey. 21 residents have died.
