New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in NYC Will Be Totally Virtual This Year
Here comes another change due to COVID-19 for 2020. This time a holiday tradition will have a totally different look and feel because of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the NY Post, the New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square will be without a crowd for the first time in 114 years. The iconic ball first dropped to ring in the year 1907.
The New Year's Eve ball drop for 2021 will include an enhanced virtual experience with live entertainment. No word on which acts will be performing on the annual Times Square celebration.
An estimated one million revelers would be ready to party on a typical New Year's Eve in Times Square.
The ball drop in Times Square also became a part of our family holiday tradition on New Year's Eve. Every year, my boys would always look forward staying up till midnight to watch the ball drop to ring in another year.
