The Oakcrest High School Marching Ambassadors finished off a trifecta of awards Sunday by taking the 2019 Tournament of Bands Group 1 Open Championships in Hershey, Pa.

Oakcrest had a top score of 97.45, also winning best Music, best Visual, and best Color Guard in the weekend competition, according to their Facebook page.

Oakcrest had already won State and Regional Championships earlier in the month taking the Tournament of Bands Region 1 Group 1 Open Championship while also winning Best Music, Best Visual, Best Percussion, and Best Color Guard.

On Saturday, October 19 at the NJ State Championships in Toms River, their performance earned them the top spot as the TOB Group 1-Open State Champions (scoring a 90.450)!

They hit the road the following day to Vorhees and competed in the Regionals with a stellar performance  they became the newly-crowned TOB Region 1-Open Class Champions (scoring a 93.200).

This marked the fifth straight state and region championships for the Oakcrest Marching Ambassadors. That's quite a legacy. Well done by all!
