Howie Roseman will have to make several decisions about the Eagles roster. With the team way over the cap, they might not be able to be a big player in free-agency.

This week Pro Football Focus released their list of the top 100 players set to become free agents this off-season and one member of the Eagles made the list.

While the Eagles don't really have a lot of their own free agents to decide on, they do have one who made the top 100 list. Cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, who had a disappointing first season in Philadelphia was on the list, coming in at No. 76.

Now infamous for the non-call on a blatant defensive pass interference in the 2018-19 NFC Championship game against the New Orleans Saints, Robey-Coleman hasn’t been quite as fortunate recently. An important piece of a stingy secondary in Los Angeles became expendable and ended up signing a one-year, $1.35 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for 2020. Robey-Coleman’s defensive grade and coverage grade through Week 12 are both five-year lows, and those marks will raise some questions about how much of his grade in Los Angeles was down to the system rather than the player.

He has shown flashes this year that he can still be an aggressive and feisty slot corner, but he has given up a 116.0 passer rating when targeted while allowing 11.7 yards per reception — a high figure for an inside defender.

While Robey-Coleman was disappointing, he did have success in Los Angles with the Rams. With the team in some cap trouble, they are going to need to find some value, and bringing Robey-Coleman back to work with new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon might be something they are willing to do.

PFF projects a one-year deal with Robey-Coleman worth $2 million.

Eagles sign Robey-Coleman for one year, $2 million fully guaranteed at signing.

It could be worth a shot to see if a new staff can work with Robey-Coleman and have him battle it out with Avonte Maddox in the slot during training camp.  He showed he can be a valuable slot corner, and with cap issues, it might be wise to take another look at him.

Of the top 100 free agents listed, PFF did not predict one of them to sign with the Eagles.
