Shill's office says on the afternoon of April 8th, the Pleasantville Police Department received calls about multiple people that had been shot on the 100 block of Linden Avenue. Responding officers located 26-year-old Maurice Hampton (a.k.a. “Abdul Hamid”) of Pleasantville who had been shot and killed. Two 18-year-olds, Messiah Burton and Shilameen Henderson, both of Pleasantville, were shot; they were treated for their injuries at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City.
