The Sixers looked lifeless in their Tuesday night loss in Denver, but should be getting a big boost to their lineup on Saturday.

According to reports, including Shams Charania of The Athletic, the team is expected to have the services of All-Star Joel Embiid on Saturday when the Sixers host the Minnesota T'Wolves.

Embiid has missed the past three weeks with a bone bruise in his knee suffered in a game back on March 12. He has resumed on-court activities on March 27 and looks to be ready to play by April 3.

The MVP candidate is having a monster season, averaging 29.9 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.4 blocks per game, hitting 42.4% of his 3-point shots and 85.9% of his free throws.

With Embiid back in the lineup, the Sixers will finally have another big man, since dealing Tony Bradley in the George Hill trade, the team has been rolling with Dwight Howard and Mike Scott at the center position.

The team could still look to add oms size behind Embiid, it was reported that the team kicked the tires on former Memphis big man Gorgui Dieng, who ended up signing with San Antonio.

The team played its entire road trip without the services on Embiid, and are currently 3-2 without him, with Cleveland on Thursday night.  Overall in 2021 they are 8-8 in games Embiid has missed this season.
