St. Augustine Prep Suspending Sports for Two Weeks
The St. Augustine football season will remain on the sideline when the high school football season starts on Friday night.
The Hermits played in a scrimmage against Woodrow Wilson on Friday, but will not be able to kickoff their season this Friday or next week, due to COVID-19 tests on campus.
St. Augustine Prep has cancelled sports for more than two weeks, including first two football games with Vineland & Millville and will be switching to a remote learning schedule for all students.
The school hopes to reschedule some of the fall sports events, like soccer and cross country, but making up two football games is unlikely.
