Target has announced a couple of changes to the way they do business.

Starting this Wednesday, all of Target's stores across the nation will be closing at 9PM so their workers will have additional time to clean and restock stores.

Until now, Target in Mays Landing closed at 11PM most nights and their store in Manahawkin closed at 10PM.

Additionally, Target is reserving the first hour of Wednesday morning that each store is open exclusively for their "vulnerable guests" -- people like seniors or those that may have conditions that make shopping in a crowded store difficult.

In a statement to USA Today, Target CEO Brian Cornell said, "families are counting on Target for critical supplies during this challenging time, and we'll continue to do all that we can to keep our stores open."

Cornell went on to say that his stores will continue to limits on some products and he asks people to only buy what they need.

Target's announcement comes on the same day that Macy's announced they would be closing all of their stores until the end of the month while the State of New Jersey ordered all malls and enclosed shopping areas closed until further notice.
